ABOUT JASMINE STOKES
l am a Textiles Graduate from Loughborough university. Over previous years I have gained over 7 months experience within the textile industry, this has led to me now having 18 months experience within interior design.
My creative flare is inspired by colour and form and my prints are often inspired by historical art movements such as the well-known ‘Memphis’ Design and nature of which I will extract elements and form my own original designs which portray a maximalist style. My favourite designers are Marimekko and Camille Walala with their bold, statement designs creating much impact. Vibrant colour stories are injected throughout my pieces of work, its how I express myself as a creator.
